Cloud Coders has always developed, created, and nurtured key partnerships with industry-leading products, technology, and clients. One of the key partnerships that we work on and grow with, is Honeywell. We’ve been a Honeywell ISV partner since 2017 and we were fortunate in the fact that the Movilizer platform in which we develop on, was purchased by Honeywell in 2016. From this, it meant that as Honeywell continued to move across the Movilizer platform into their mobility solutions, we were able to work closely with not only the Movilizer team, but now a large number of people within the Honeywell organization.
Why is it important for us to be partners with Honeywell, and how does that help you, our clients?
Well, for starters, it allows us to provide a complete end-to-end solution. We all know that software is extremely important, and it does a lot of the heavy lifting in regards to inventory management, warehouse processes, and stock control. But at the end of the day, we need somebody to input this data, which comes down to the end-users of our solution, and how they can ensure data is collected correctly, and their ability to complete their daily tasks easily. For us, it took a long time to understand the best solution for our clients – which is the Movilizer platform. But, looking at the end-user and what they would need to fulfill their processes, we needed to look at a hardware solution that fitted in with our business, and allowed our clients to achieve more. This is why we chose a key partnership with Honeywell.
Finding a hardware solution
Looking at many different hardware options, we needed to ensure their scalability, their ability to work in rugged conditions, as well as their ability to support clients moving forward. Honeywell ticked all the boxes. They have a large array of different hardware options for the mobility sector, from freezer-grade devices to forklift-mounted devices to mobile printers that all allow improvements within the warehouse, and improving time efficiency for the end user.
Cloud Coders have a large number of hardware devices to test and ensure that our solution runs on every single Honeywell device. This has been great for us so we know that when our clients receive our solution, they can use it immediately, can continue with their processes, and then improve on them as they better learn how to use the Movilizer platform. We’ve had a number of scenarios where we’ve visited clients, and while there, been able to download the Honeywell Movilizer application, sync it with their NetSuite account on an existing Honeywell device and have it up and running within 15 minutes so they are able to scan and show stock levels immediately. This has been extremely important in showing the compatibility of our solution, but also for clients to understand that this solution runs perfectly on Honeywell hardware.
Tying all this together gives our clients a complete end-to-end solution, and allows Cloud Coders to understand NetSuite, ERP, general inventory management pricing, and stock control processes that exist within NetSuite. The warehouse management solution on the Honeywell Movilizer platform, includes all of the above processes within a mobile setting. This key partnership delivers future-proofed hardware which is extremely important, as end users use this hardware to ensure the accuracy of their business systems. We want our clients, and the end-users, to have the best possible mobile experience, and it’s achievable with our solution on the Honeywell hardware.
