New Charities 2021: Royal Flying Doctors Service as the January Charity
In this blog series, we’ll discuss Cloud Coders charity initiative for 2021 and more specifically our January charity. In 2021, we’ll be continuing our commitment to giving back and being able to provide specific charities with donations each month. The charities are selected by the Cloud Coders team members, and many of them have a special place in the Cloud Coders team’s heart. We not only, as a Cloud Coders team, learn more about the important work people are doing throughout charities around Australia and the world, but we also have the ability to give back and share this information with everybody out there.
Royal Flying Doctors: The First Charity for 2021
The charity for the month of January 2021 is the Royal Flying Doctors Service. Some of our Cloud Coders team members live, some work remotely or further away from some larger cities. And this means that they do not always have easy access to medical health and hospitals. This is why the Royal Flying Doctor Service has been a specific charity that was chosen by one of our team members.
In life, we take a lot of things for granted such as medical help and easy access to hospitals. Regional and remote regions throughout Australia do not have this luxury. The Royal Flying Doctor Service makes this possible. Cloud Coders team is happy and proud to have them as our charity in January 2021. The Royal Flying Doctor Service is able to bridge the gap between metro and bush living and will allow for a wider and easier access to health services for people in these remote regional areas.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service has done a fantastic job throughout the last many years in providing these services to remote parts of Australia. It’s important for us to understand that although a lot of us live in major cities, this access is not always possible in the same way that we have access. It’s a fantastic charity that Cloud Coders is extremely proud to support. We encourage you to have a look at the Royal Flying Doctor Service and if possible, help this charity as well.
Next month, in February, we’ll be discussing the next Cloud Coders charity. If you’d like to learn more about the Royal Flying Doctor Service please visit their website or get in touch with us. We’re more than happy to help out with any questions that we may be able to answer.
