Smoother Operations with Third Party Software Integrations

Gage Roads Brewing is another Cloud Coders’ happy customers that gave us the opportunity to integrate third-party software into the cloud WMS process for smoother operations. This allowed our client to continue on with the processes they’d already been using while enhancing other parts of their warehouse through Cloud Coders’ Warehouse Management Solution or  WMS.

Gage Roads Brewing is one of Australia’s largest independent breweries based in Western Australia. Gage Roads came to Cloud Coders, with the requirement of a warehouse management solution that allowed them to scan effectively throughout their warehouse, as well as integrating with a piece of third party software specific to their industry.

One of the key factors in selecting Cloud Coders’  WMS for Gage Roads was our nimble approach to be able to get them up and running very quickly. We had a very short turnaround in terms of time from demonstrating the solution to them, providing them a proposal, to then deliver the solution all within a matter of weeks. This allowed us to not only show the nimble nature of Cloud Coders, but our ability to work with our customers to achieve goals quickly, and then set up a tiered approach to make sure their needs were initially met in regards to the solution, and to build on the initial requirements providing the complete solution that we always do.

MANAGING PRODUCTION OF PALLETS, LINKED TO THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE CRAFTED ERP

Cloud Coders started to look at other processes throughout the business that Gage Roads Brewing were looking to enhance. Firstly, the solution had to manage the production of pallets linked to a third party industry-specific piece of software. Not wanting to reinvent the wheel, we were able to work closely with NetSuite implementation providers, to understand how this solution works, quickly and effectively integrate it into our warehouse management solution and have outputs ready to put straight back into NetSuite via the WMS solution.

MANAGING PALLET MOVEMENTS FROM FACTORY TO DISTRIBUTION

Cloud Coders were then able to improve Gage Roads Brewing general palletisation through understanding the production of pallets through the third-party software. This then enabled us to determine where the pallets would be located throughout the warehouse and then off to the different factories for distribution via several different channels. Utilising the third party software integrations with our Cloud WMS enabled Gage Road Brewing to then manage their pallet movement from factory to distribution.

IMPROVING INVENTORY PROCESS and CLARITY AROUND STOCK LOCATION

From the understanding of being able to create, move around and distribute the pallets, Cloud Coders’ WMS was able to improve inventory processes and give Gage Roads Brewing a lot more clarity around stock location and stock amounts. This gave them a massive uptake and within the first couple of weeks, improving overall stock inventory and inventory processing up to 90%. This also meant that within a couple of weeks, they were able to fully understand their stock locations, inventory processing, and how that inventory would then be impacted through distribution.

Being able to improve Gage Roads Brewing warehouse operations was a fantastic achievement for Cloud Coders turning around a very fast implementation through our nimble processes and ability to adapt. Gage Roads Brewing was then able to show the effectiveness of the solution within the business, meaning that it’s not just about the time in which you can get something set up, but at the end of the day, it has to work effectively and improve efficiencies.
